| "Creating the standard to LIVE INTO, not UP TO." |
| About Us |
| OUR PHILOSOPHY |
| The growth of individualism has exploded to an all time high. As the world expands and grows,
we experience different aspects of existence and our norms change. In the United States, for example, we
have moved from being farmers (hard, physical labor with our hands), to the Industrial Revolution
(increased productivity using machines), to the Information Age (work “smarter” not “harder”
which has led to a ‘microwave mentality’- I want everything now) in less than 200 years.
Each time period held to a different set of changing values and goals. It is our belief that we are currently in a post-information age. Many people want/need to know how to apply all of the information that is at their fingertips. This is significant because during the information age (exploded by the internet), we were on a quest to get as much information as quickly as we possibly could. The availability of information combined with a decline in the physical presence of parents, mentors, and role models (most of whom are out working hard to achieve material success), has contributed to an increased sense of individualism and relativism of truth because younger generations have not been exposed to or seen in action the moral standards of community, fairness, and equality. They have seen the gap between the have’s and the have not’s increase exponentially and have grown-up without a standard of morals to truly live by and not just speak about. Finally, we recognize that many individuals have lost, not developed, or never knew how to dream. In a society without dreams, there is no hope. We believe that a truly successful life is a balanced life. It is our desire to:
|
| MISSION |
| Our mission is to assist individuals achieve all they ever dreamed – and more. Empowerment Solutions was created in 2003 to foster community-minded, responsible leaders in all walks of life. We empower people to make better choices and obtain balance in their lives by developing a sense of belonging, competency, and worth. As a result, solutions for individuals and the society at large are implemented and not just a part of idealistic conversation or regular complaint sessions. Simply said, we achieve our mission through our ABCD principles: |

| APPLIED KNOWLEDGE IS POWER |
| At Empowerment Solutions, LLC we believe that knowledge by itself is not power; rather, applied knowledge is power. We are dedicated to guiding individuals and companies through the process of creating and building prosperous lives and successful businesses. Utilizing a unique approach, our processes are dynamic and results-oriented. |
| PEOPLE MAKE THE DIFFERENCE |
| Our belief is that people are our most valuable resource. Our business is focused on developing
the potential within any person and turning possibility into reality. Our clients' organizations develop
cultures where continuous improvements, higher levels of achievement, standards of excellence and exceeding
customer expectations prevail. Far too many people go to work because they have to, not because they want to. Economic pressures have elevated the effort to increase productivity and quality while lowering operating costs and the number of employees hired. Too often, people are so busy trying to get the job done, that there is little time left for developing skills necessary to meet these challenges. Ultimately, this leads to a lack of motivation and frustration at the workplace, as well as at home. We have developed a process which successfully addresses these challenges for individuals, employers and employees alike. |
| WHY US? |
Our comprehensive development process covers the three areas needed to attain success:
|
| WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING... | |
| "Patrick Fennell was an excellent training presenter. He is a soft-spoken individual, who presents his material in a calm,
yet commanding manner. He had the students working together in small groups, delving into their own personalities, and doing a lot of
soul-searching. He never made any of the students feel that they had a wrong answer. Patrick always gently asked probing questions,
which helped the students reach the desired conclusions.
Frankly, I was amazed that these students were willing to give up twelve lunches to attend the one hour training sessions. They not only did this, but they did it willingly!" | |
| Jill Magidson, Program Director The Science Academy at Morristown High School | |
| "Everyone "got" the message and felt energized to make some changes by the look of their comments. Thank you for a great program and for "nailing" what we wanted to address." | |
| Christine Shesler, M.S., CHES Program Coordinator - Madison Alliance Against Substance Abuse | |
| "I am going to start by changing one thing tomorrow as we [my child and I] have a better, smoother start to the day" | |
| Barbara, parent | |
| "Dear Mr. Fennell, I am just writing to thank you for your presentation and training today. It was a great experience! I am looking forward to the mentoring program now more than ever. You helped to open my eyes to many things about being a good mentor. I hope that with your training I will be able to help out my mentees as best as possible. I just wanted to let you know that it was a great experience and you are a very good trainer. Thank you," | |

| "I like this class. We can talk about anything." | |
